Wrinkle Reduction

At Dental Wellness Mill Hill we can help you achieve a more youthful look, but in a natural way. As we age, wrinkles and fine lines start to appear, we offer non-surgical facial aesthetic treatments that can give you a fresher, smoother, younger look.

Wrinkle-relaxing injections are the number one requested facial aesthetic procedure in the UK. We may be able to temporarily freeze the action of the muscles in the upper third of the face giving you a fresh and rejuvenated appearance, eradicating the tired and angry look these wrinkles often give.

Dermal fillers smooth wrinkles, correct facial asymmetries, and improve the definition of facial features such as the cheekbones. Deep dermal fillers, meanwhile, are great for dealing with ageing features such as:

  • jowls

  • double chins

  • marionette lines

  • flattening of the cheek bones

The fillers we use here are natural substances that replenish those lost by your skin over time.

Facial Aesthetics FAQs

What is Hygiene treatment?

Hygiene treatment aims to prevent problems from occurring rather than simply fixing things when they go wrong. We recommend regular dental visits for examinations and hygiene treatments to ensure your mouth, teeth and gums remain in great condition.

Dental Hygienists have both clinical and health promotional responsibilities. Clinically they help to treat and prevent periodontal (gum) disease by scaling and polishing teeth; they can take dental radiographs and undertake monitoring and screening procedures. Dental Hygienists are also permitted to apply topical fluorides and fissure sealants in order to reduce dental caries (tooth decay).

Their Health Promotional role includes motivating and encouraging individuals and groups in oral health practices including oral hygiene and diet advice.

How much does Hygiene treatment cost?

We have 3 Packages which are above. Gold, Diamond and Platinum. Each Package is specially designed to give you the best hygiene experience for your needs. If you are unsure what is best for you, check the table above or give us a call. We will happly help you choose the best option for you

Why should you get Hygiene treatment?

Gum disease affects the gums, bone and ligaments that support your teeth. These structures are the foundations which enable you to keep your teeth for life, but they can be damaged by bacterial infection. If this is if left untreated it can progress into a more serious condition, called periodontitis.

Simple steps like brushing twice a day, flossing, and having a thorough periodontal evaluation from your dentist at least once a year can help detect and prevent gum disease.

Typically, gum disease does not cause pain until it’s in an advanced stage, at which point much of the damage has been done and tooth support destroyed. That's why its important you visit us for regular dental check-ups so we diagnose, treat and manage your overall oral healthcare needs.

Who is Hygiene treatment for?

If you are suffering with bleeding gums and other gum problems are something we take very seriously. Hygiene therapy will reduce the risk of developing several serious medical conditions linked with gum disease. A surprising 90 per cent of us will suffer from gum disease at some point in our lives. But with carefully considered dental care, the risks can be easily controlled.

Our high quality dental hygiene services will help to keep your mouth free from tooth decay and gum disease, it can also prevent and treat bad breath.

Through a combination of our skill and care, plus your own oral hygiene efforts at home, you can ensure your teeth and gums remain in tip-top condition for life.
